Born in Athens, Greece. At the age of 5, Panos begins guitar lessons and after 14 years of dedicated study, he earns his degree in classical guitar. During his school years, he forms several bands and performs as an opening act for well-known artists.2002-2006: Early Career in Thessaloniki
Panos moves to Thessaloniki for Theatrical Studies at the Aristotle University. He forms new bands and performs in many stages across the city. During this period, he begins composing theatrical music and collaborates with renowned Greek artist Lavrentis Mahairitsas. His debut album is in the works, supported by legendary Greek composers Mahairitsas and Thanos Mikroutsikos.
2007-2008: Festival Success and Early Releases
In 2007, Panos participates in the Song Festival of Thessaloniki with Life that awaits, followed by the release of a single. In 2008, he wins the Special Jury Award for Best Lyrics for his song Napal.
2009-2013: Transition to Brussels
Panos relocates to Brussels, focusing on theatrical music and continuing his collaborations with artists from Greece. His debut album Mia anasa akoma is released in 2010 by Lyra, with songs gaining radio attention. In 2013, he forms the English-language project Pocket in Red and performs across European cities, including a notable appearance at Greece’s Rockwave Festival alongside Craig Walker (ex-Archive).
2014-2019: Expanding Horizons
Panos releases his second solo album Piso apo tis vrohes in 2014, followed by sold-out shows in Greece and Belgium. Over the years, he collaborates with prominent Greek artists and presents conceptual concerts like Truth (2019), with themes based on real stories. His third solo album Mahi is released in 2018, followed by live shows in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Brussels.
2020-Present: New Directions
Amid the global pandemic, Panos explores new sounds with electronic music and forms the experimental duo King as Slave. He also releases a series of singles and performs live in both virtual and physical spaces. From 2022 to the present, his band Pocket in Red performs regularly at the Hard Rock Cafe in Brussels. His first book O Mesa mou Augustos is published in 2022, marking a new creative direction. Looking ahead, the debut album of King as Slave, titled Gold, will be released on 15th February 2025, with a live presentation concert at Pilar Brussels.
