Damned lovers, disillusioned revolutionaries, tender killers come to life through the voices of Panos Gourgiotis and Giouli.

The duo has prepared a setlist of well-known songs from Greek and global music, all based on real stories.

Each song has been rearranged with their distinctive, recognizable sound, creating an unexpectedly cohesive program. Ambient synths, hypnotic grooves, and melodic guitars shape a colorful, unique universe.

Participation in the 3rd Nevronas Festival, Saturday, November 9th, 2024.

3rd Nevronas FESTival at Technopolis… “Science and art belong to the whole world, and before them, all boundaries disappear.”

From November 8th to 12th, Technopolis of the City of Athens opens its doors to host Greece’s largest Accessible and Inclusive Performing Arts Festival. The Nevronas FESTival, recognized as an excellent practice at the 2024 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards with Platinum and Gold distinctions, for the third consecutive year presents disabled and non-disabled artists and inclusive artistic groups, giving people of all ages the opportunity to enjoy theater performances, concerts, dance shows, films, exhibitions, artistic workshops, inspiring talks, and discussions of significant cultural—and not only—interest, without any restrictions.

Our goal is to showcase the talent and value of disabled artists through art, to share their stories and actions for equality, and to actively support the efforts of the disability community. Meanwhile, associations, organizations, NGOs, and companies will be informing visitors about campaigns and initiatives that promote Inclusion and Accessibility.

Because… Art makes no distinctions. Art is from people, for people, and it makes our lives more beautiful! Because Inclusion and Accessibility are an integral part of our social and cultural reality! Because Inclusion and Accessibility are a priority and are becoming a reality!

A Celebration of Inclusion… unlike any other.

The true strength of this Festival is not the hard work of its collaborators or the quality of the paid disabled artists. What sets the Nevronas FESTival apart is the sheer number of artists taking part.

3rd Nevronas FESTival at Technopolis… Feel the Art… your Own way! 5 days 75 hours 90 activities 300+ artists

This year, the Festival expects to feature disabled artists, inclusive artistic groups, and speakers from abroad, as well as collaborations with other Festivals, further enhancing the culture of inclusion and collaboration on an international level, characteristics that lie at the heart of the Nevronas FESTival.

The new and improved 3rd Nevronas FESTival

With the experience of organizing and hosting the previous 2 Nevronas FESTivals, we understand the need for further accessibility of the venue and artistic events. Even though we have chosen the Technopolis of the City of Athens precisely because of its existing accessibility, we are committed to taking measures for further accessibility of the built environment, with the help of our partners from AccessLab.

Additionally, we have planned even more specialized training and organization for the volunteers who ensure the safety, comfort, and unique experience of our visitors.

Finally, in collaboration with the Technopolis team, we have secured more spaces so that the 3rd Nevronas FESTival can take place over a larger area.

The Nevronas FESTival you know

The celebration of Inclusion and Art that you already know will remain essentially the same, despite all of the above. The people of the FESTival, namely the Nevronas FESTival team, Nevronas.gr collaborators, and volunteers, continue with the same enthusiasm and hard work to prepare this great event. Meanwhile, institutions and artists who will honor us with their presence will dedicate their time and art to prove once again what the German poet and philosopher Wolfgang Goethe said: “Science and art belong to the whole world, and before them, all boundaries disappear.”

See you at the 3rd Nevronas FESTival this November at the Technopolis of the City of Athens!
